Skyanchor exists to provide access to God's outdoors, and we encourage everyone to partake.  Skyanchor has RV amenities to include 13 full hook-ups ( nine (9) 50 amp service site and eleven (11) 30 amp service sites), complete restroom facilities with showers, a camp site to handle several groups, a 5 acre spring fed lake for fishing, a fitness trail, and a robust playground.  Skaynchor is just minutes away from the Surry Nuclear Power Plant, and the Scotland Ferry connecting Surry County to Historic Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg.  Plenty to see and do at nearby Hampton Roads and Virginia Beach.

Camp Saw Whet

A Small Camping Experience

Camp Saw Whet means, "Camp Little Owl", and the goal of this 3-day, 2-night camping experience is to contribute to making wise young women and men.  The camping program is perfect for groups of 8-15 school age children and teens.  Available to the campers are provided tents, space for your own tentage, bathrooms, a chapel, access to our meeting room, frisbee golf, fort playground, fishing, hiking trails, and a putt putt golf course.

 Challenge Course Camp

The most important goal of the course is to provide a multitude of learning opportunities for able bodied youth and adults to experience the challenges that confront an individual living with disabilities on a daily basis.  Each station on the challenge course is designed to offer a realistic adaptation to stimulate awareness for an individual.  Participants maneuver through: Blind trust run, wheelchair bowling, restricted arm badminton, wheelchair shot put, restricted sight ladder golf, blind laser BB shooting, signing, blind putt putt, dyslexia star tracing, wheelchair basketball, crutch obstacle course, blind softball, kick croquet, blind maze, wheel chair log hoist, wheelchair horse shoes, one arm archery, and the one arm golf driving range.
